The route from the Village to Days Bay can be taken two ways, along the road - just 15-20 minutes or via the ridge top, 2.5 hours with a few stops for breath- taking views and the birdlife. I did that in the weekend taking along both my GPS and my TrueNet mobile tester. This blog provides some guidance to the track, and if I can work it out I will post the input for "mytracks", the smartphone app that can guide you along the way.
The track takes you past some very old trees, a large Lancewood, two very large Rata and a third Rata which is quite large but you have to climb over the roots so you will not miss it. The Photos shown on the map - going anticlockwise are shown in the slideshow below.
